It’s about a character who is one way on the outside and internally opposite. About someone trying to hide their true self and bursting at the seems. Every single day it bleeds. He fools most people and probably truly wants to be the person he is on the outside, but you can’t run from who you are.. the truth will always be revealed.. hints at an old grateful dead trick where they would dose people backstage unknowingly in order to see their true colors to keep the bad people out of their inner circle. a drip of steam and i’ll come clean. also touches on a modern phenomenon Obsessive Compulsive Disorder... O.C. there’s lots to see.
